This is a once a year opportunity that we, as pro-life advocates, are given to
participate in and show the public that our generation truly is passionate about the pro-life movement. We are powerful in numbers and can prove to society that there actually is a great number of youth who believe that being pro-choice is immoral and harmful to society. By having so many youth and young adults attend this event, our society will be able to see that there is a new generation of young adults who are passionate about being pro-life and who have a solid stance against abortion.
It is a rare occasion when such a large group of pro-life advocates gather and promote life by means of a rally. As pro-life supporters, we must take advantage of every opportunity that we have to promote the pro-life message. We need to educate ourselves so that we can then educate others in return. In order to stay connected with a secular-driven world, it is crucial for us to remain aware of and up-to-date with current events so that we can bring those findings to the attention of others.
It is of great importance that we have a lot of people at the Walk for Life Youth Rally so that others can witness the youth’s fight for the right to life, the most basic of human rights. The success of this event relies heavily upon and directly to the number of pro-lifers that attend. We will prove that the pro-life group is growing and can surpass the pro-choicers. Our voices need to be heard, and our example needs to be seen; this event will put faces to the definition of “pro-life.“ The modern wave of pro-life believers can break the mold of the old-fashioned and religious stereotypes. We are the new face of the pro-life movement: people from various backgrounds and lifestyles with a unified mission to defend the unborn.
At the Walk for Life Youth Rally, we will be given the opportunity to meet other people similar in age who share in our belief. Our generation is driven socially, through networking and interconnectivity between people with similar goals and interests. The pro-life culture thrives especially on this very fact: face-to-face, word of mouth, networking towards the defense of life.
As a native San Diegan, it would be awesome to have the people from where I live come and represent San Diego in supporting life and the youth rally. Beyond our south-western culture, pro-life youth and young adults from everywhere across the United States have that much more power in spreading the passion. Regardless of where you are from geographically and culturally, you can help spread the word of the pro-life revolution and continue to pray for and support this movement.
